The Conservation District promotes conservation and development of natural resources in Fayette County. Appointment to the Conservation District begins with a prospective member being nominated by an organization.
Agendas are available prior to the meetings. Minutes are available following approval.

The Conservation District Board includes Farm Representatives, Public Representatives, and one Commissioner Representative.
Members have a term duration of four years.
Commissioners have a term duration of one year.
There is one opening on the Conservation District.
