Please be advised The Register of Wills Office REQUIRES appointments indefinitely. All Marriage License applications and Estate openings are required to call in advance for an appointment**

If you are needing to apply for a marriage license or open an estate please call our office in advance to schedule your appointment and verify you have all of the correct documents.

*The latest to file and leave with a receipt same day is 3:30 pm*
If you file after 3:30 pm your receipt will be mailed to you the next day.

*AS EFFECTIVE 1/13/2026 - NO CASH PAYMENTS OVER $1,000 WILL BE ACCEPTED. IF OVER $1,000, WE WILL ONLY ACCEPT CERTIFIED CASHIER CHECKS.*
