Overview
The purpose of the Tax Assessment Appeals Board is to hear and decide on petitions of 40 day and yearly appeals. The board hears testimony, then sets a valuation on property.
Meetings
- Time: Meetings are scheduled as needed to hear appeals brought by property owners or taxing bodies.
- Location: Hearings are held in our Gallatin Bank Building, 2nd Floor, located at 2 West Main Street, Uniontown.
- Meeting Notices: Legal notices are posted in the Herald-Standard newspaper when meetings are scheduled. Meetings are open to the public.
