Fayette County Behavioral Health Administration (FCBHA) is part of Fayette County Government and is overseen directly by its Board of Commissioners. FCBHA is the local authority, established by the Mental Health and Intellectual Disabilities Act of 1966 (PDF), charged with the responsibility of assuring that quality, evidence-based, recovery-oriented programs and services are readily available to residents throughout Fayette County.
To achieve this goal, a highly skilled and knowledgeable staff works diligently to develop, monitor, and maintain an appropriate mix of programs and services critical to those individuals with Intellectual Disabilities and/or Mental Health disorders.
